In 2005, the Company gained a very important reward – a National Quality Prize. The competetion for this reward was arranged by the Ministry of Economy and the Quality Council. This competition is being arranged for companies stimulation for efficient quality management methods implementation and for Lithuanian products competitiveness increase in the European and world markets. Vilniaus Vandenys competed within a group of big companies. The competition target is the appreciation of companies and organizations business perfection based on a universal quality management level. Activities of Vilniaus Vandenys were examined by a commission of experts. The Company’s activities were estimated in grades basing on the following criteria: management activities, policy and strategy, staff management, resources controlrocess control, meeting requirements of customers, meeting requirements of employees, impact on a society, business results. The awarded National Quality Prize testifies, that the Company by implementing the efficient universal quality management methods achieved good business results and can ensure a good company management quality.
