The Company seeks continuously for a close mutual contact with consumers. It is open and tries to demonstrate how the problems are solved and introduces daily activities to the consumers. For this purpose, on May 5, the day officially announced a day of Water suppliers, Vilniaus Vandenys arranges the „open door” day. Like every year, in 2005 the „open door” day was organized in Rotuðës Square. In the event, the Company demonstrated the newest technical means and arranged visits to the most important water-supply and sewage treatment units. Those who wished could visit Antaviliai Water Treatment Plant, water supply station of the second lift, Vilnius Waste Water Treatment Plant, to make acquaintance with the technologies and to put questions to the organizers. About 800 people visited various objects.
In the Company’s website (http://www.vv.lt/vv) the consumers can find the actual information and to learn about the water quality in individual regions of the City, the data for the previous twenty-four hours. Here, one also can find data about the history of Vilnius water supply system, present activities, the projects implemented and the projects under fulfillment. The information about the services rendered at the acceptance of new construction is given, terms of water supply and sewage collection contracts, information about the necessary documents in order to become a plient of the Company.
The information about the Company’s activities is announced by press, radio and TV. Various brochures introduce to the customer water supply and sewage systems in Vilnius and provide the actual information. Apart from this, the Company takes part in the specialized exhibitions arranged by the exhibition centre „LITEXPO”.
