ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION
The volumes of company services have increased
(drinking water sale increased by 2.9%, sewage collection
and treatment – by 4.25%) and a total electricity
consumption decreased by 3.5%. Organizational-technical
measures of electricity saving, modernization of
automatic control equipment providing a set pressure
maintenance in the net resulted in a decrease of a comparative
consumption of electricity (electricity consumption
for 1 m3). A significant decrease of electricity consumption
for sewage collection – by 19.2%, and a comparative
consumption has decreased from 0.273 kWh/
m3 to 0.225 kWh/m3 – by 17.6%. It was achieved after
reconstruction of the main „Studentø“ waste water pumping
station. The replacemant of four 6kV 800 kW pumps
with 690 V 470 kW of analogous operating efficiency,
with a frequency transmission and a smooth start facility
resulted in 1392 MWh electricity (saving appr. 0.26
mill.LTL) saving. The introduction of various technical
and organization means in 2005 resulted in electricity
saving amounting to 1.26 mill. LTL.

COMPARATIVE CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRICITY
ECONOMIC INDICES
In 2005, the Company sold 26.5 mill. m³ of cold
water, collected of 24.9 mill. m³ of sewage and treated
25.2 mill. m³ of sewage. If compared to 2004, the water
sales increased by 2.9%, the sewage collection – 5.6%,
the sewage treatment – 2.9%. The services sold in 2005
provided the income amounting to 106.8 mill. LTL (VAT
incl.) (90.6 mill. LTL without VAT). If compared to 2004,
the income increased by 3.9 mill. LTL or by 3.8%. The
basic reason of income growth is the increased volume
of the services sold in 2005. For the last seven years the
Company’s operation is profitable. In 2005, the profit
amounted to 1.2 mill. LTL (before tax).
