Report potential violations
At Vilniaus vandenys, we uphold high ethical standards. If you notice or suspect unlawful actions, inaction, abuse or corruption, please report it to us. You can also submit a report if you are not our employee.
What you can report
Using the whistleblowing line, you can report:
- breaches of employee safety, ethics or conduct;
- personal data protection violations;
- failure to comply with rules on the reconciliation of public and private interests;
- potentially improper business transactions or accounting practices;
- improper acceptance of gifts or irresponsible use of assets;
- non-transparent use of public funds or assets;
- potentially non-transparent procurement;
- inappropriate conduct by employees or contractors, including fraud, abuse or corruption;
- other potential violations.
The information submitted is received directly by the Chair of the company’s Audit, Risk and Sustainability Committee and the Operational Resilience Department.
How to report a violation
The easiest way is to complete the electronic reporting form.
You may remain anonymous — you are not required to provide your name or contact details. If you do provide contact details, we will ensure confidentiality.
You can also report potential violations by:
- calling 0 800 19118. You can leave a voice message, and we will contact you after receiving it. A single voice message may be up to 300 seconds (5 minutes) long;
- visiting the company’s Operational Resilience Department;
- emailing pasitikejimolinija@vv.lt;
- reporting a suspected case of corruption directly to the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania by email at pranesk@stt.lt.
What happens after you submit a report
- We confirm receipt within one working day if you have provided your contact details;
- we review the report and verify the information. If necessary, we forward it to the responsible department;
- we provide a response within 20 working days if you have provided your contact details.
We can inform you about the outcome of the investigation only if you provide your contact details and indicate that you wish to receive a response.
Liability for false information
Please note that the law prohibits:
- defamation or dissemination of false information;
- falsely accusing another person;
- reporting a crime that did not occur.
Such actions may result in criminal liability under Articles 154 and 236 of the Criminal Code.
