We manage the entire water renewal cycle, and the journey of drinking water to our customers begins deep underground. We extract water from 287 deep wells located across 33 water extraction sites. The wells range in depth from 32 to 245 metres.

Water extracted from these sites enters the water supply system, which consists of 153 pumping stations of various capacities and around 2,018 km of water supply networks. More than 532,000 residents use centrally supplied drinking water, including more than 513,000 residents in the city of Vilnius.

To ensure that our customers receive drinking water of very high quality, we treat it at water treatment facilities, where naturally occurring excess iron and manganese are removed from the groundwater. A total of 21 iron removal facilities are used to improve water quality. The largest water treatment facilities operate in Antaviliai, supplying around 41% of all drinking water required by Vilnius and serving approximately 250,000 residents.
