he Internal Audit Department operates within the company and reports directly to the company’s Board. Its activities focus on assessing the effectiveness of internal controls.

In organising the company’s internal audit activities, internal auditors:

• act impartially and avoid conflicts of interest;
• are not directly involved in the company’s operational activities;
• are not directly involved in selecting or carrying out internal control procedures;
• follow the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, the Code of Ethics, and the company’s internal regulations governing internal audit activities.
